Default Post pictures of your roll bar/cage

I'm curious to see how you padded the bars. Did you just put the padding on or did you zip tie? Did you use something other than zip ties?

I would have liked to have seen some pics, too. Car at fabricators right now having roll bar installed. Should have it back next week. Looking at options.

just used regular zip ties, maybe 4 or 5 down the door bars and spaced the rest about 10inches apart all around the padding

I used Velcro Wire ties. They are used to tie computer and stereo wire into clean bundels. My dad used to work for the teliphone company and had a bunch laying around.

I have seen them at both stereo and computer stores

you don't have top pad the door bars, only where your head can coem in contact with the bar.... and you are "supposed" to use the SFI padding, alot of places don't pay any mind to that as long as there's padding, but for the few bucks it costs, you're better off using the sfi approved stuff.

I used the velcro the stuff came with, but will be adding a few zip ties to it to hold it more secure to the rollbar

Had my mom sew mine on her machine. Real soft vinyl and a thin padding with velcro sewn to it. Got it all at a fabric shop.
