Default how hard can i push 16in MT DR's?

I have been running nittos for awhile now and it just getting annoying trying to ease out of the hole and/or peddle it. i am a full bolt-on car with a yank 3600 stall converter. Would 16in M/T's be able to handle anything i could throw at them??

on an auto car i wouldnt replace an et street (bias ply) for a m/t drag radial. teh 16" m/t radials are plenty for your 7 second car.

There are guys going deep 9's on the 17" ones, so the 16's should do fine.

no you donjt want to DEAD hook. if it sticks at 18 or so then go up until your 60' clow down then drop 1 psi and go run...this will get you a little wheel spin outa the hole and help you

ever seen the drag racing vids in slomo of top fuel and funny cars they spin for about 15 feet

Hope to be testing some on my ride as well. Bolt-ons I only hit 1.7x with 245 Nittos, with cam I'd like some 1.6s with the 255 MT DRs.

i've always been happy with my nitto drs, both the 16s and the 17s......1.64 on the 17s last fall. i've got a 9" now though, so i'm thinking of throwing some of the m/t drs on it to see what happens. good luck

28" M/T on stock aluminum 16" Z28 wheels here. Won't be running them until next season when I do the cam swap. They're a little over-kill for a bolt-on only car (in my opinion).
