D, is there anyway I can get $ out to Shorty for the race gas? You and Matt with the notch were great for showing us the spot. You should let my buddy John H. sell you that street sweeper, that location is awesome all us guys were impressed. Anyone ever explored that cave?

Who's fault is it that you built an "expensive" car that u didn't wanna lose? that's what cracks me up lol. I heard you yelling my name when u showed up to pinks when we were about to race, and was right by you, but you didn't know it was me PSJ haha.

This wasn't supposed to be an "ordinary" episode with dueling shitboxes, it was a themed show and we had agreements made to build what we built.

I'm sure that car was purpose built and I don't see the point in putting up a 25k car to win a 5k car. I will say now that I don't believe it was an 8.80 car unless they were talking 1/8 mile. Sure, it doesn't take much to throw a nice motor into a worthless shell and you really don't have anything to lose. If that is what we knew we would be racing, then we would have brought the same thing. I can find tons of cheap turbo Mustangs that would put that box in its place.

lol jk. Your right, we built a TURD of a car, we knew the radiator neck was going to bust and spew water onto the track making our car spin out haha. It sure was damn exciting, i'm hoping for your guys sake they can line something up so u can get that same feeling.

I had $3250 in the car before it was modified. The fact that the Mustang was rough was not the primary issue, it was the huge difference in ET. When I was talking to Nate, when he was nice, he never said 'you should bring an 8 second car.' Of course we would not have either, I would have easily had another $7-8K in the car.
I sat back and thought about how much cheaper I could have done the car. I could have kept the stock hood, not repainted the front bumper cover, stock shortblock, and saved $200 on the wheels (I paid $1000 for the Bogarts + the front tires). I could have saved about $2500. The forged shortblock was $2500, and I sold the stock one with the old headers for $1000 for example.

The distributor we had was defective and we didn't know till the 4th run when we had to change a few things around...
Again if you want... We can gladly bust that camaro's ***... We don't need two kits... We only need one...
