I don't watch THAT SHOW anymore anyway after the Rockingham race. I drove down there and froze my *** off that day just to hear them faggards say that all my friends cars are too fast to compete in the final. What the F? Some of these people I know drove down to the Rock and drove back home later in the same car that was too fast. The ******** even ask one guy I know would he run for the crowd after they cut him out. Crowds still waiting I guess and I don't blame him one bit.

I'd say the sponsors still got their time/money's worth, just not as much if they got on tv. It seems to me that it would make no sense to risk that beast of a z to win a last minute switcheroo worn out old heap. Of course I'm only up to page 4 of this thread, so not sure what has happened since then...I hope the original race can happen eventually if it hasn't already.

Hehe, this is so July.

I keep making the car nicer, so I plan to keep it and keep running it for at least another year.

John why didn't you just race them and lose your car when they kept sandbagging the entire time LOL.

Good thing you played it smart, that's a nice car, keep fixing it up.

Had our original opponent not dropped out the week before one of us would have two cars by the end of the race day... I know our car was super consistent and still is, so who knows what would have happened.

Yeah no worries the car is repurposed as a project car that races at events and tries out various combos...

Pretty pissed that I didn't follow this. I kept waiting for pinks to start for this and damnit now it was for nothing. Would you still race if they came up tomorrow and wanted to race?

Would I still race the car on Pinks for titles? Not this car, I'd consider doing something rougher given how rough the cars are in person, you should have seen the wiring and other stuff on other cars filmed for the show.

Well yeah, why would you put in a badass looking, and functional car, when you have the chance of loosing it anyways. lol. I would probibly be the same way...

I would have run it winner takes both cars had it all worked out but the whole deal got dicked up for a few reasons and now I would not race on that show again unless some things got dealt with.

You gotta love the impact of "gofast wiring". Shoot,I'd trade three stickers for clean wiring anyday when it comes to going fast. It makes all the HP differnce in the world when you're racing cars instead of just talking about watching cars race.

By the way, you can tune in on Feb 27th at 9pm and you can do a 1-Mississippi... 2-Mississippi... bench race.

Hmmm I actually paid for the wiring out of my pocket (and the car has never had a wrench turned on it since it was built back in the summer, hats off to Speed Inc.).
