Im interested in info on the jesel setup. Is that an available off-the shelf setup or is it a one off piece? Custom cover? Looks awesome!

Jesel has the belt drives available for any ls engine. The lifters are also in stock may need to be assembled. Call Shawn from VaSpeed hes a Jesel dealer.

Damn Phil, that sucks. Is that the norm for custom made parts? I honestly dunno, just asking. Never had to buy anything like that before.

Ever thought of going with a Winberg? I know a couple guys that swear by their custom stuff. I don't know if they make a center weighted crank or not though. That's what you're using, right?

CCW is required at this level and stroke length.

Sounds like I'm just crazy then

Have you looked at the spreadsheet I posted on the bullet by chance? I sent you a PM but never heard back from you. I'd like to add a little to mine

Winberg does make one. They can do a center weighted in a 4.650 stroke off the current billet core they have now. I got mine from them and can't say a bad thing. Mine took right at 11 weeks from start to finish. If you want a top of the line crank I would only use 3 people. Winberg, Bryant or Pankl ( SP Crankshafts ) and that is it.

Well, when your a star of the NHRA the companies are probably a little quicker with delivery times. Us slow pokes get to ride at the back of the bus.

we're right at 15 weeks right now. kinda irritating. Got 5 cranks on order from Bryant and this is the best service i get.

Winberg makes some great cranks, got a couple big block cranks of theirs sitting here.

Are you going to the engine dyno with this new engine? It would be interesting to see how much it puts out. I´m sure it will be a lot

Probably not, there is alot into setting it up and we're at a time deficit as it is. We'd like to be able to put up a mid to low 70 hit at 20-24# of boost with the new combination.

Hell, if that was the truth I would have had my motor done in a few weeks and not 10 months from the start. LOL But it does help in some cases.

It just always never fails when you order stuff for these type of builds. 4 weeks is really 10 and 12 is 20.

Shawn

You should call over to Winberg and speak to Randy Winberg. Tell him I sent you over. I can even get you in contact with him if you like. They have really nice stuff.
