It just limits how fast they come out which can limit the vacuum.

Finishing up some small last minute details and off to MIR tomorrow. They have a pro-mod test session and the track prep should be off the chain. Temps are supposed to be sunny and 60s. Its about as good as you can ask for.

I'd be interested in the eliminator and the 80# injectors if and when you do switch.

We have noticed that the Pro Mods like to have the track scraped, and the radial stuff likes the rubber build up.......

It was a long day and chris hit the nail on the head. I thought the track should have been on kill but pro-mods like a different track than radials. Track was tight but it didn't hae alot of inital bite which is extremely important for radials.

Basically made 4 hits
60'
1.33
1.30(shook at 1.0)
1.26(shook at .95)
Spin on the hit(looking for a 1.23)

There is something going on with the boost which is probably cam related, Shawn and I talked 2 weeks ago and have a new one in the works already. We hurt the tranny on the last hit, actually I think the tranny is fine but the front seal is pushed out. I dont think we let it cool down enough between hits.

Comes up on boost nice but could be better. 1st hit it went 5.12 @ 152 with the boost dialed back. We did not get any full hits other than the 1st one.

The suspension changes worked as planned, I dont think we would have gotten off the line on the old suspension.

Wow Phil, it still looks good for all the work you have done. I think when you get it lined out you will have to get clearance from NASA cause that bitch is going to be a rocket...

That's got to be a little frustrating but just part of the process. Get a couple issues straight and head back out with more suitable track prep and that car will put down some great numbers!!!

Good luck!!!

You were right in the bald spots on the last run.

New tires?

The 1st run it spun but actually recovered, spun just before the gear change, 2nd and 3rd run it spun 1.02 and .96 on hotter tuneups.
