You dont need "traction control" you need power management. Since Harlan wont come clean with the "Gizmachi" Phil with have to do it with the AMS 1000.

We're going to bust *** to go this friday morning from 9 - 5.

Today we got a couple things done:
Added toggle switch for datalogger
Cut Lexan blockoff pieces for bumper fog light opening, and center opening between head lights
Wired the trailer lights and some other small ****.

Renting the track during the day, there is an event that night but we're soo far under weight I don't know if there is enough time to address that.

phil, why is your raceweight goal so light if you are so far underweight for the class?

Well I would think that if he is light he can use ballasts to his advantage rather then just trying to make the weight with the car.

Good call Nimitz! HAH

We had planned on adding weight but we have not gotten the weight boxes done yet. We thought it would be better to add the weight where we wanted it. We can get the L/R and the F/R right where we want it depending on track conditions.

at that kind of weight that car will be unreal once u turn the boost up. although u will be adding weiht for most class races it will be an animal on test and tune with no ballast. thats not much more then my buddys car weighed with far less power he was running bottom 8's.

Well got a couple things done this morning...
-Got some lexan cut & Painted black to cover the fog light holes and the center grill
-Finished 99% of the wiring in the trailer for overhead lighting and outside lighting

-Started working on the turbo inlet for the bumper
- Making it a two piece deal, the bumper piece is a 5.5" piece of round aluminum contoured to the bumper
- The turbo piece is kinda like this....
starts with a flat piece of 1/8" 6061 aluminum 7" OD 5.75" ID. We took a piece of 7" tubing and cut it into a 3" piece and welded it to oneside. Took another piece of 5.75" tubing and welded it to the other side. It slips over the 7" inlet and clamps to the turbo, the front necks down to 5.75" and the bumper tube will slip inside.
