Question What limiter straps?? cable style.

who runs what, who did you get them from, and how easy are they to adjust ect?

I run chain with an adjustable bracket welded to the car that move with a bolt in 1/2 increments up to 3ins.

not sure i want a chain style, i like the cable look better.
but chain would probably be stronger

Madman's chain style limiters. There is nothing else better in my opinion!

Huge ******* chains I can lift heavy equipment with! LOL

I'm going to post pics of mine here in just a second brad, I got the wolfe cable style and they are adjustable. Pretty inexpensive also. Check out my post in drag racing tech(25.5 build).

I'd be scared of the cable style ones wearing out over time. Fraying or breaking would be extremely scary. I've never really trusted that woven cable.

I also don't have any personal experience with those style travel limiters so they could last extremely long. IDK, I'm just responding on the material in general.

I trust that cable with my life everyday when I'm flying on a C-130/C-17. I think it will hold up fine on a car.

now how tight do i make these?
do you make them slack at all, or just snug it the way it sits?

When you buy them from Madman he tells you how to set them up. (HINT) Buy from Madman, he's been working on 4th gens for like 12 years.

haha, psj, your killing me.
i think i might just make my own. i want to do somthing so i dont have to weld to the wheel well because my well is white, and i dont want the slag.
i think im figured out a way to do it without welding. if it doesnt work i will call mad man. id rather not weld them it tho.
