325/50/15 MT DR guys, break in and burnout/psi ?'s
Hey guys I'm getting ready to mount my 325/50 DR's on a brand new set of Bogart D10's and i'm wondering what the break in procedures and burnout techniques that the big boys are using. I've heard about super long burnouts and 17psi but wanted to find out what everyone is doing to get these tires to hook hard. I want some 1.3x 60 foots once I'm done.....

I started with 18 psi and went down to 17 on the next pass. Short burnouts and keep the rear shocks on the stiffer side. If your car unloads the suspension the nose will come down and then the car will wheel hop.

cool guys thanks for the input..... so i guess 17-20 psi is where i'll start.....
PSJ what are your rears set at? I'm assuming QA1's..... i was thinking start in the low numbers soft (like between 1 and 4) and stiffen them up if they won't hook...

My buddy's blown chevelle runs tire pressure at 15 psi, it is a 275 60 15 m/t et street radial. Just burn out till the tire just starts to show smoke and roll out.
I'd start at 20 psi.
Car has gone 8.30's in the 1/4 on that tire with that burnout method.

it's a sbc with a big vortech blower and blow through carb, makes about 1400-1500 hp, run's 8.30 usually around 160 mph, with 60fts around mid to high 1.3's
Love those drag radial cars, what was great was seeing another buddy spin the tires get out of it and back in it and still run 190 mph on a 315 60 15, with 3.08 gears
