I would realy like to put toyo's new 345/40-17 drag radial underneath my car and possibly lower the rear 2" to compensate for the 1" drop in the front and the taller rear tire, mickey thompson claims their 345 has a 13.9 section width, do you think I could fit that tire in there without relocating the lca's but also using mini tubs, offset lca's ? Also if so, do I realy need to go the "2.5" spring route or can I use the stock spring and location setup? THANKS!

Sorry haven't been on in a while, I don't know the actual dimensions of that tire, but without using smaller springs it might rub, from what I remember the first place to hit will be the LCA's once you've mini tubbed.

this thread will live forever lol.

I recommend that you give some specs on what rim/tire combo you will be running as well as the backspacing of the rim before any one can help you.

My same thoughts, narrow the rear with the BFH mod. Put the 275 on a 10 inch rim and ride.

I right here with you. I don't need more tire room I just want to take out some weight. Every little bit helps. It seems easier to cut off of the car than for me to loose weight.
