pretty trick looking rear setup!

snapped those pics in Orlando @ World Street Nationals (which was badass BTW!!), this will be out within a month or so.
builders say it will clear all exhausts/mufflers. can be street used by dropping/unbolting one of the links. in which case a quick release pin setup would be ideal for quick disassembly.
what do ya think?
i'm not going too mention pricing or who makes it, since they arent a sponsor on here.

yep, all 1 unit tied together.
it moves the panhard bar to the outside (rear of the car side) of the factory mounts, you can see the spacers in the pics to fill in the factory spots so the mounts dont get all bent up.
oh and its chrome-moly/fully tigged. they said they will be adding a few gussets in some spots. and they use teflon/kevlar self lubricating heims. also said it will clear a rearend girdle.

looks like it should do the job well... who knows tho. i like the looks of it for sure!
yep, i'll just say the reps at their booth said it was going to be significantly under 5hundo and significantly over 4hundo (find the median lol) for everything as it is in the pics, in chrome-moly and powdercoated.

Yes that is a piece made by TRZ Motorsports. I went down and offered any creative ideas that I had for the project a month or so ago. We will be testing these on a couple of different cars here in our area. Our own 10 second 95 LT1 Firebird and possibly a 7 second Outlaw Drag Radial car. This kit is completely bolt in, except for the tabs on the rear end. TRZ has a way to possibly make it 100% bolt in, but they are still designing that part as well. I talked to Mike @ TRZ today and he was interested in what it takes to be a sponsor on here. Can someone PM me that information, or email them at trzmotorsports@yahoo.com <trzmotorsports@yahoo.com>

We do not think there will be a problem with the way the brace now ties into the stock brace point, as well as the stock location for the panhard rod to bolt into. Even so, its still going to be tested on some pretty quick cars, then removed to see if anything twisted, flexed, etc.

Not trying to revolutionize the suspension world, but it will be the easiest chassis style roll bar to install in one of these cars, especially once they figure out the bolt on tabs for the rear end. If its a "bolt-on" deal it should be legal for NHRA Stock Eliminator and be significantly lighter than the other stock eliminator stuff out there right now. We did some preliminary weight estimates and this complete deals weighs just a smidge more than the factory panhard rod and support brace, yet it includes the ARB! Those big fat factory style bolt on sway bars weigh a TON

My one concern is that putting 1000 hp or more to the panhard bracket and launching that thing on some thing that is spot welded on.
For one if it fails you'll have no panhard rod attaching the rear end and I don't think that would be a good thing if it finally decides to pull the bracket one way or another especially if it lets go on the top end.
150+ mph if the panhard bar bracket shifts = good luck.

Good point. Alot of the serious F-bodies that I have seen already have the panhard rod brace fully welded anyways, but that is definitely something to consider if it is not already done. Also, for the guys who are not stuck to the "bolt on only" rules a brace could be added if the user was worried about something flexing. For the majority of the people that this setup would benefit, extra bracing on the panhard rod brace would more than likely not be necessary, but for the ones who are on the edge with radical cars how many bolt on parts dont need a little modification

No problem! The only side loading that the brace will actually see is from the panhard rod, which is pretty minimal. The ARB will put more of an up and down load on the brace.
