Best way to find out what's right for your car/tire combo is to play with the pressure and see the effects, personally I would want the best 60 ft, stable driving without losing mph on the top end.
Try up or down a couple psi, and run whatever gives you the best launch. There is no magical number, you can build two motors, two cars, same exact setup part for part and each one will require a little different tuning, just the way it is.

At 16 psi there was no shake at all it was smooth as butter but it didnt really bite very well on my car. The difference from 16-13 was dramatic. Yeah it chugs a bit but it makes it bite hard for me. I did make one great pass at 14 psi although it was only one out of four and less shudder.

the correct answer for tire pressure is whatever works on your car. not everyone or every car will work at the same psi the same way.
play with your PSI and your launch, start high and keep lowering them until your 60ft's stop improving.
even once you found that happy pressure you will still want to play with it a little on time shots sicne different tracks and different weather conditions may bring different results.
