Are you still running the vic jr or did you get the Super Vic? I went with the Super Vic.

how did you go from a 2" cowl all the way up to a 6" cowl if the intake is only 1.2" taller and the nitrous plate is .5" for a total gain of 2". That 6" cowl looks downright nasty, makes it look like a total beast now, there goes your partial sleeper.

No ****, I hate it. I like it to be more of a street car appeal. But haul ***.

now it will look more like it will haul ***.

The beautiful 5" hood that is the one most people run, it slopes back real slowly and were the carb sits is about the same as the 2.5" hood I got now. So if it does not hit, it will be real close and may interfere with the carb flow. Maybe.

I knew this 6" hood came up real fast in the front. Therefore is would give good clearance were it is needed. So I took it instead of the one I wanted, the 5". It is starting to grow on me now. The more I look at it.

Leave that hood... if you decide to get one of cary's intakes down the road you'll be glad you did.

That is the baddest hood for a fox body period. Nothing else has the in your face look. I know, sleeper look=gone..... but if you're gonna do it, do it right

I plan on eating lunch at the track on that new picnic table there. I just looked at the pics again, it sure sloped up fast just like my glasstek 4" cowl. I'm surprised glasstek doesn't make a similar hood for a mustang. I plan on fitting an air cleaner, super vic, and nitrous plate under my 4" cowl with room to spare as well. Mustangs must be a lot shallower, or I must have moved the motor a lot lower in the chassis than I originally thought.

The motor in my car is up a little and forward a little to much. My friend who help set up the susp told me to move it back. That is were it was when I got it. The bias is 56% frt/44% Rr. Some day I will. LOL.

Update, I got the motor back from the shop who did all the porting work and the guy set it all up for me.

The intake has been ported and the heads were touched up a little bit. The cam was altered a little bit, it's a 248/258 dur, .646"/.646" on a 112 lsa. With a set of pac dual valve springs and Ti retainers. Comp slid lifters with the link bar. The head gasket is .027" cometics. The cr is right at 13.2:1.

I started wiring the kit and I got a cowl panel with 2 2 5/8" gage pods. It hits the hood a bit but I can make it work.

Damn Jeremy, Thats Looks Good Man!
Glad to see it's all coming together, And wow the intake is just Dead Sexxy! Not to mention 13.2:1 Compression! WOW! I'd say your gonna hit 9's on motor this year and Hopefully LOW 9's on the juice man! I can't wait to see what this bad boy does man! It'd be nice to see it dip into the High 8's.
If you need a hand bro, Give me a call. I'll be more than happy to lend a hand.

Take Care and Good Luck. Don't hesitate to give me a shout if you need to!

It should be pretty wild for sure. Those are my goals exactly.

Right on James. Text me your cell # so I can lock it in my phone. For the most part it is all me. But now and then I need a hand handling putting the motor in and out. Or the tranny. But my helper (Randy) is usually around most of the time. If not my cousin is around a lot.

If it goes 9.90's NA I will be happy. The motor guy say possibly 9.70's or 80's on motor and maybe high 8's on the 250 hit if I can get down quickly.

I pretty much have the whole nitrous kit wired now. I just need to get the motor back in it to wire the noids and micro switch. Then run a few more fuel lines.

My timing chain seams to be pretty loose on the slack side of the chain. Does anyone know when it is to loose or can I add a tentioner to it? The guy who put it together said to look into it. Will a ls7 tentioner work on a ls1 block?

I'm also looking into doing a vacume pump. I want to do it on a budget if there is such a thing.
I'm looking for a used morosso pump or something cheap and I will do all the lines the way I want.

Any thoughts or idea's?

IDK about the tensioner or the vacuum pump man. I haven't gone that far with my engine yet!
Looks like your really putting the MAX effort into your build. I love builds like this! Really good Job again Bro!

I got the carb back the other day. It is now a 950 main body and annular boosters. It has had a lot of other things changed in it also. Trying to make it work good on the motor and spray.

I was playing with the plate last night also. I put it on the intake and wanted to see the spray pattern with a .055 jet and 600 psi pressure.
