I got it down off the jack stands today. I took it for a little drive and it is running like ****. I put a old set of 7's in it that were pretty gassed up. It is popping and breaking up pretty bad if I get above 3500 rpm's. I think it is really rich or really lean. And my lc-1 is acting stupid. It works fine when I reset it then about 2 minutes later it freezes up. I reset it twice and it has done this. I think it needs a new sensor. This one is 4 years old and has seen a lot or leaded race gas.

A few pics from the other day.

Yeah I had the 98 Z almost sold. At the last minute his GF decided to talk him into buying a house.
I wanted to slap her a$$. lol
But it's cool! I also had a guy look at my 2002, But he backed out too! It would've been really nice to sell them both, But oh well!

I am still waiting for the Detroit Locker to arrive at MWC, And once it does he said he will call me after it's assembled. I bought it with the rear Strange Race brakes too!
I'll be putting the rearend in as soon as I get home with it probably. lol
I still need to order my Driveshaft, But I may just grab 1 while I'm there. I have the $ I just didn't order it when I ordered the 9 inch. But they said they usually have 1 of each type in stock, so thats cool!
As for tuning, Yeah I'm gonna have Norris Tune it for me and then hit the track Immediately. I will still need a drag bar asap, But I'm gonna have to wait on that b/c I really need to get some money up for you to paint my truck. I need it painted BAD!
So My goal is to finish the Z enough to RACE it at the Indy Street Car Shootout, and then get my truck painted! Then MODIFY some more, this winter, on the Camaro!

I'm going to start with a 100 shot and get that figured out. Then by the end of the year I will be hitting it with 200-250.

How is the white car coming along?

kinda slow. waiting on susp parts and such, and some OT from work.

but car is pretty much wired, needs carpet and a seat and the int is pretty much done.

oh well. it takes time, and I got plenty of it

It took me 2 years to build this thing to were I am happy with it. And the susp was done when I got it lol. But that is what it takes if you do not have all the money at once or car afford to pay someone to build it for them.

The cool thing is, I would do it all over again in a sec.

Is that a decent bias? or is that horrible? My truck has the same 56/44 bias, but I think it's about to get worse when I cut 140lbs on unsprung weight from the rear(leafsprings).

It's decent. But not ireal for drag racing. It would be better if it were flipped around. The car would 60' better I think. Or so I have been told.

I got it from CJ pony parts. They come in any configuration of gages.

It is a Edlebrock 2 noid plate that bolts under the carb. They have them for 4 noids also.

I've been slacking on this thread and posting pics.

Update..

I ran a PB at the Holley LS Fest. After the rain went away on Friday and they got the track ready, we hit it for a few test runs on the 275 radials. The track was great. It was cutting low 1.4's and high 1.3's.
After several 10.0x runs I turned the two step up to 4K and let it eat. It cut a 1.36 60' on it's way to a 9.98@134.

Finally! A 9 sec run on motor. I am happy with that and ready to put some spray to it. I am starting with a 100 shot to get it dialed in and get my license runs done.

I hope to be testing it next week. My goal is to have it ready to spray at the shootout..

Here are a few pics from LS Fest. They are scanned so they don't look the greatest.
