Well I finally got the mustang on jack stands and planning what is going to get done first. And that has come down to what is the cheapest to do right now. Being that it is only a few days after Christmas and that breaks me for a min lol.

Here is what I'm planning now! And the list has grown since last month.
1. put my motor on a front/mid plate.
2. strange front brakes. My stock sn95 calipers drag.
3. New front struts. Maybe the new double adj afco struts custom setup by Menser Motorsports.
4. fix wiring issue for trans brake and auto shifter.
5. stripped and re cote Kooks headers. They look really bad now after 4 years.
6. need a new set of 275 radial pro's.
7. possible gear change to a 3.73 from 4.10.

I think these items will help make the car safer, be consistent and look good!!
I hope to push this to 8.50 this next season.

Thanks for that *******! lol Gimme my mix tape (cd) back!! Haha

Nope, not gonna be working on it for a while but slowly acquiring parts. I've gotta get the camaro done and sold first. But, i just made a deal on a 408 motor built for boost locally from a guy who it turns out knows almost everyone i do! lol So it sounds very promising and not concerned at all with picking up a used motor now after talking to him for i think 2 hours last night and for a bit tonight when i got the good news that i can consider it mine! We'll be picking it up next saturday. It put down considerably more power than my last one did too!

Sounds like you've got your ducks in a row there with yours! Come and swap in my 3.08's and you can have the 3.73's in it now! lol

With a 1.25 60', why are you swapping shocks? I'm planning to do a minitub eventually and coil overs as well to get the ride height right and be able to put a bit more meat under the rear.

The weight savings you'll get with the drag brakes should be Nice!

And you should have the headers stripped, striped would just look

LOL

LOL, I like to "stripe" stuff haha.

I already have a 3.73 gear just need put in. I don't know how to set them up either.

My front shocks are blow'd out and in need of new ones for a while. I want to try to get to 1.20-1.22 60' this year.
I want to be able to come out on a 200 shot at 100% off the line and it not be on the bumper lol.

i was just gonna say you may have a worse 60' that way but only because it'll be on the back tire!

Yea i've never attempted to set up a ring and pinion and have no desire to for as few as i'll ever do lol

I got new front brakes and shocks ordered and Race Craft motor plates on the way. I will post up as I make progress.
I also decided to rewire all the nitrous kit with a slick relay board from leashelectronics.com It should clean up some wiring I'm not happy with and make for a fool proof fast installation.

I was worried about the lights looking "ricie" at first but I think they are fine.

Man its not all peaches and cream! I have not touched the car in two weeks. I'm down with a cold right now and my work load is picking up big time at my shop. I gotta make that money while its there lol.
So the work will resume in a few weeks.

In the mean time, I got the Strange brakes and shocks ordered. I hope to see them in the next week and the last thing left to get is a new set of 275 pro's for this coming season.
I'm ready to see what a 1.22 60' feels like!
