HA HA HA HA. That was more of an inside joke to the guys who run stock suspension. That piece was originated by Wolfe (as far as I know) and should not be legal in ANY "stock suspension" class. Since when to Mustangs come with torque arms (or a single ladder bar as they have been called)?? And dont even gimme that "well its there for safety" junk either. Its there to prevent tire shake and to keep the tires planted. To avoid controversy at Orlando this year, Wolfe did not have it on his car and went pretty freaking fast so obviously its not totally necessary.
Chris, put them on the biggest bead lock rims you can squeeze in there. That'll look cool

Actually PS John I saw a 295 60 15 on a 15x10 at my friends shop the other day, it wasn't on an f-body, but it pretty much looks like a narrower version of the 315 60 15 on a 10, but it has a more square looking sidewall to it.

Will Stevensons 7.51 Drag Radial car is 100% stock suspension legal down here in our area. The only part that was not a true "bolt on" in the suspension was the heavy duty factory style sway bar as the end link mounts had to be welded to the body. There sure are alot of other guys who have alot racier looking suspensions who have not been as quick yet

PJS, I might can get you some of those. I think Will still has a set of both mounted on two different sets of rims from when he was running ORSCA. I will check with him tomorrow when I see him.

Doh, forgot about the torque arm! They even allow that to be relocated in NHRA Stock Eliminator (by far the most strict when comes to stock suspension) so it kinda slipped my mind

Just noticed the post below
How far is the the "section" of the tire from the "outside" of the fender.
The way it is now I can tuck mine in about 1.5" from the fender to the section of the tire and wanted to know how far yours was tucked in so I had an idea what it will look like.
One last thing how far is the rear fender measured from the center to the ground?
