What do you think is the best rim size for a 315 60 15 to drag race on.
The car has a wide enough tub to run either with ample clearance.

I have sen cars go fast on both, but I was thinking a 15x12 will give me more options later if I run a 10.5w tire say 33x10.5w I wouldn't want to put that on a 10" rim.

You run 15x12's don't you? What size back space and how much did you narrow your rear in your setup?

How's it end up being 13.25?
I thought a 15x10 was 13.5 section
15x12 is a 14.25 section
So how the heck does a 315 60 15 end up being 13" wide on a 14" rim?
Whose car, have a link or pics I have to see this?

Will Stevenson has been 7.51 @ 191 with 15x10s on his F-body. I think I remember him doing some testing with 12" rims and it did not show any improvements on his car, but did cause some clearance issues.

HA HA HA HA. That was more of an inside joke to the guys who run stock suspension. That piece was originated by Wolfe (as far as I know) and should not be legal in ANY "stock suspension" class. Since when to Mustangs come with torque arms (or a single ladder bar as they have been called)?? And dont even gimme that "well its there for safety" junk either. Its there to prevent tire shake and to keep the tires planted. To avoid controversy at Orlando this year, Wolfe did not have it on his car and went pretty freaking fast so obviously its not totally necessary.
Chris, put them on the biggest bead lock rims you can squeeze in there. That'll look cool
