LPE 2 step considered "electronics" ?

LPE 2 step considered "electronics" ?

I see a lot of tracks have in their rules listings....for classes that are 'no electronics'.

Is putting a LPE 2 step for instance, on your M6 car going to be considered electronics at most tracks?
I'd like to use this piece for launch rpm control, instead of doing the look at tach, look at tree, look at tach, repeat if you know what I mean.

Generally 'electronics' means delay boxes. Check with the track to be sure, usually 2 steps are allowed.

With a manual car, a two step would be allowed and at some tracks its legal in auto's also.(hooked up on the brake pedal) Some tracks also allow transbrakes w/o delay boxes in no-E as well but it varies with location.

2-steps are allowed and so are trans brakes. You just can't use a delay box or throttle stop.

think its used for bracket racing...holds the throttle at a certain % down the track to consistently run the same times w/o breaking out. don't quote me though.
