Mini-Tubbing & Wheel Lip Clearance With 29x10.5W?
Outside of cutting the body, what has everyone done to get sufficient clearance between the tire and body at the front of the wheel well with 29x10.5W's?

you have to cut.
The slick will grow on the the top end. Even if your tires are completely inside the wheel wells there is still sufficient material inside for it to get snagged on or rub.

Here is a Pic of a 29.5W on the back of my car.
The tire is set inside the fender and both front and rear have been trimmed, the rear got trimmed more after some more trial fittings.

I traced the patten of the front side of the rear wheel well onto cardboard and made a template, then I tiled the shape forward like 1.5" then traced it on and straightened the line on the bottom some so at the body the cut line is straight up and down, on the rear I used the same shape but only took like 1.25"
The rear has a lot more curve to it stock so I like how it smooths the shape out and makes the front and back look more evenly shaped.
I don't have all of my pics on here anymore but here is couple.
Keep in mind right now it only has a 275 60 15 on it.
I did a post on this before but I can't find it.

I haven't welded mine on yet, but I cut mine using a cut off wheel, then ground it really careful once I was close to the line.
I am going to cut a piece out of sheet metal to match the factory curve of the wheel well to make a lip back on it, then I'll tack it on and then trim it width wise.
If you're asking can you trim it and bend the metal back to keep the lip, I doubt it will line up right, either way I think you'll have to cut the piece off then reattach it or make a whole new wheel well lip.
Here is a pic of what I think you're talking about I found on my old mini tubbing post.
That's stroked30th's car maybe he has some photos, info PM him.
