Default 4" cowl hood w/ pics

well i thought you drag guys might be interested in this hood. it was off an e-bay seller and the cost was $255, it arrived 5 days after i ordered it. here are some pics. the fit was a lot better than i expected. it lined up almost perfect on my first shot. i did have to space the latch down with a couple of washers so it would latch properly, but it was not big deal. i spent about 2 hrs. cutting the holes out for the induction (they come uncut), and sanding. i used a die grinder and a de-buring bit to cut the holes then filed them. its all primered now and will be going to the paint shop next monday. i really like the looks of it. i think the center line makes it look like it belongs on the car. and the raised partof the hood angles out, not like the ones ive seen that have like 90 angles on them.

I like the sunoco style windshield length vfn hood but I hear the quality is good or bad depending on the weather I guess. LOL.
