comp engineering shocks
my car sometimes has trouble hooking up so should i them on 50/50
or what? which one helps it hook the best?
currently i have stockers
3600 tall 3.42 leacing on a 125 shot...cam only motor
mt dr out back raceweight about 3200
Question to the people that have them installed, when there set at 50/50 you have to extend them to install them. Well last week I installed some newer rear springs and notcied that the indicator wasn't exactly lined up to the set setting while extended. Does this mean its at whatever setting its pointing or does it work based off what it was set to before extending?
Thanks in advance, not trying to thread hijack because I'm sure others might want to know this later. I'll probally call comp eng. to ask them.

There is no 70/30.
Front shock rates are 90/10 80/20 70/30.
Rear shock rates are 30/70 40/60 50/50.
The 50/50 will resist squatting the most, while the 40/60 and 30/70 will allow the rear to drop faster and hold the rear end down more which is supposed to promote more weight transfer on slicker tracks, but will most likely just cause wheel hop.
50/50 from all the people I know gets the best results.
