Default PAF 8.50 Sportsman cage done pics.

Tyson ran a winter special which fell right on time w/ my need and availability of my car, we actually had 2 rpm cars done back to back. He did a good job at a good price, and I really think the ability for him to powdercoat the bars vs paint will pay off on a street duty car like mine. It certainly does look great.

I also got dual removable swingouts and a black window net not shown.

yes the heat mods are here

https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-tech/867874-light-weight-full-function-heater.html

the project update is:
I am awaiting the 6 bolt mods to be done and back from erl so that wheel can get it assembled.. then i drop it in and i'm back on street patrol.

the parallel project (truck) is going well so far, only snagged by the custom oil pan delivery wait... so i went and did a twin walbro pump mod to its fuel tank yesterday. other than that i'm all done save for picking an intercooler and connecting the in's and outs.

Good to see you got it done, its nice to be able to go race anywhere and not get bitched at for safety stuff. I dont see a chute lever anywhere though

phil, ill be at the track soon as you get your new heap out there

my buddy adam got the chute, we're going to share depending on who is getting yelled at, hah

PAF did a very nice job on his too.. ill get it if i gotta.. just trying to keep the '**** to do before going to the track' list to a minimum

on the drivers side, did you do anything to the dash material after cutting it?
im deep in need of a cage to be legal, and to stiffen things up anyway.
worried about the dash trying to separate and curl up from the florida heat.

looks nice!!

Looks great ! It gives me hopes for running a full cage on a ttop car. How much clearance do you have to access the ttop release handles? and is the key hole accessable?
