Default narrowed 9 inch help

just bought a set of 315/60/15 drag radials, does anyone know how much to have the rear end housing narrowed? I have draglites with 7.5" backspacing. And I want the tires to be tucked in the wheel wells with the car car lowered. Also using offset lcas.

Thanks in advance for any info

thats big enough to fit a 10" tire back there with that backspacing. i dont see where any narrowing would need to be done.

I want the car to tuck the tire inside the wheel well, I have 27x10.5's mounted right now, it looks like it won't tuck the drag radial(much wider)

Minitubs done? If not it won't work. YOu will not be able to puul the wheels in far enough to clear.

I know stevemilz narrowed his rear 1.5 per side (315/60/15) with 7.5"BS but its hard to tell exactly how far they are tucked

I think thats what you need. 1.5" on each side should put you under the outside like of the fender. If it hits on the inside fender you can do a little chop (don't have to mini-tub) in just that one critical area in the front. That would for sure give you the room.

But my opinion.... if you're going to narrow, atleast go 3" per side and get better backspaced wheels that look better and you save more weight that way.

I just wanted to use the wheels I already had, if I can sell them I will buy new ones with a different offset.
