No problems on any of our cars here without tubes. We do glue the tires to the rims though.

I use wheel screws to screw the rims to the tires.

Just whatever kind of cement they use to patch tires with. Works great. Angie's been 1.3x with them and I've been 1.43 w/ a 3600lb. car without any problems. A 6-spped car would hit them a little harder though. I'd try glue before drilling holes in my wheels and tires.

If I can chime in here: It's the rubber cement that you would put on a tire plug.

I ran MT sportsman pros and MT ET streets both without tubes and without glueing them and had no probs. However, I kept some air in them (lowest was 12 psi) and my car is not all that fast (1.78 60'). I would go with the glue (rubber cement).

I run mines without tubes (except when I get a nail in one of them! ) I also don't launch very hard at 1.67 to 1.72 sixty foot times, and i don't see any slippage. A buddy of mine runs 28 x 10 tires with a 4500 stall 10 inch JW convertor in a 78 Cutlass, and he actually gets some slipping from his, but his 60 foot times are in the low 1.6's and sometimes high 1.5's. tubes are extra weight, so I don't run them. just my $.02

When using that, does it create any problems when trying to take off the wheels?

Paul, do you apply the cement as the tire is being mounted ?
