Your torque arm is only 8 pounds? mine weighs a lot more than that.

The torque arm attachment at the rear uses a new mount on top and in front of the rear-end (plate steel with adjustment holes for the torque arm itself. It's about 8lbs. Madman adds 4 new attachment points (drill holes on top of housing) so you don't rely on the 2 front points that tend to work themselves loose.

The torque arm overall is 27lbs. But thats not an area I was looking for the lightest.

I have just been insprired by this thread. The weight reduction bug has bitten me heard. My body guy is gonna kill me. This will improve the ET on the nitrous setup I am doing presently and make tons of room for the turbo setup I am planning.

Here's my progress on mine so far. figured id chime in even though i not that far along.

I have one question thought about the tubing for the front. To be legal on the track is there certain metal, thickness...ect. Are they gunna consider main structure of the body, and are they gunna test it to be legal?

Wut should i use

Some people might not have noticed, but Jantzer got banned. Millerpa your setup looks nice. This is on my next step of mods for my car. I have to finish painting and polishing some things, but this is right after that. I have a 93 though so I'm going to keep the headlight bar in there.
