Looking good Brian. I guess you can get it in the car without the floor plates welded on , right? I forgot, is your car a T-top model?

Looks good!
I haven't had anyone ever say anything to me about running 11s with no rollbar in my car. Guess I'll just have to try and run faster to get thier attention.

finished pics are up
MIC5EY...the plates were already welded to the floor of the car. Once the bar went back in, we just TIG'ed it to the plates

looks nice Fireball,
I am in on a GP for a wolfe 6 point chrome-moly with dual swing outs. So this is nice to see what it looks like before hand. Who is the Manufacturer of your cage? did you paint it before installing it. do you have any clearance issues with moving seat forward/backwards or up/down?
Thanks for any info

its a S&W Racecars rollbar kit for the 4th gen F-body. We used the hoop and custom bent the other bars to accomodate my needs. It was painted outside the car and installed after the paint cured. Seats will move all the way back but they won't recline since they'd hit the crossbar.

thanks, did you have to drop the gas tank to weld in the rear bars? i think I read somewhere that it was nessisary to do that.

Nice job on the roll cage Fireball!I'm looking to get a cage put in my car soon. Who did the work and are they in Cecil County? I've noticed that they do quality work (WELDS, CRAFTSMENSHIP ETC.), but are they expensive

I still do not understand how did you get it in the car. Through the back of the car or what?

door bars are inherently removable. the hoop/downbar assembly goes right in the passenger door and slid into place. Just need some crafty engineering

350 for the bar (chromemoly isn't cheap), 130/side for the swingouts (they are nice machined pieces done by chris alston chassisworks) and ~200 for the paint (PPG basecoat/clearcoat). I painted myself and had it professionally welded in which normally runs 600 around here
