My car went 11.50@122 with the TR224/stock heads about a year ago. It also had all the bolt-ons and a Moser 12-bolt/4:30s.

Your a minority Jason. Damn ya.

I ran a bunch of 11.7s @ 115 full weight...3600 with most bolt-ons and a 3800 stall.
It shoulda been 11.5s but I got KR probs.

Excuses, excuses.

my buddy jeremy has almost the same setup on his 98 except for the ls6 intake and on bfg drag radials he ran a 12.04 @ 113 on motor with a 1.63 60 foot, and then ran a nx 100 shot and ran a 11.41 @ 121 with the shift points off and hitting the rev limiter on the shifts. this is in a pretty much full weight trans am, the only weight reduction is !spare , !backseat, !sway bar

looks like you got to get that 60 down some, and the rest will follow.

thats probably the difference between a4 and m6. gotta love the a4 60 foot, but i sure do love the m6 trap speeds.

Mine is TR224 on 112, 9" with 4:11's, A4 with PT4000, 26" ET Drags for good traction, Hooker's, and lots of the usual bolt on's. Short times are not as good as I would like running generally in the 1.6x range. This is stock heads, stock bottom end, and of course no juice.

MPH is a little harder to project from 1,000 ft to 1/4 mile, but at my track I'm running ~104 in 1,000 feet.

I've run 9.7/9.8 in the heat with blown clutches in the A4. That's on 1,000 feet so guess at another couple of seconds for a true 1/4 mile. A4 is now rebuilt, and with cool air I expect better times.

Thanks for the replies, I'm going take the car out on a prepped night in a few weeks.

Last time I was able to pull some low 1.7 60ft's.

Jason, I dont know what it is. I get it on 93 octane but if I put in 104 she wakes up. Audible pinging on 93 and none on 104.

It traps 108-109 on 93 but if I throw a little 104 on top it goes 115.

I'm confused

Times in sig were on old setup with T1 cam. I now have TR224, Yella Terras and SSRA with homemade extension for the track. Im hoping for 11.40's this fall on motor then maybe throw some heads on it.

11.50 @ 117 with a 1.56 on et streets with the 224cam/stock heads. I wish I had dynoed tuned the car cause I made 4 runs that day and all in the 11.5's with just backyard editing(no dyno tuning at all). Just basic bolts ons like SLP LT's, offroad pipe, vig3600, LS6 intake, and 3.23's gears(stockrear). Im kickin myself for not making more passes cause maybe she had a 11.39 in her cam only.

but note the SLP LT's... most seem to think they suck and cant run decent numbers for some reason

also i see you like nittos. The best I could pull on nittos was a 1.65 60 and a 11.7@114. Stock on nittos I pulled a 1.58 60 and 11.95@112. It was harder than hell to find a good medium launch to get the car to hook up with the cam! She jumps in the power band alot quicker

Wow, you guys are doing much better than me.

The track was prepped last night and I got some traction:

1.738 7.705 90.19 12.119 111.46
1.709 7.686 90.19 12.115 111.11
1.723 7.689 90.14 12.111 111.39
2.052 8.306 88.74 12.765 110.56
1.749 7.770 89.61 12.189 111.16
1.788 7.762 90.22 12.171 111.41
1.888 7.892 89.45 12.327 110.79
1.757 7.736 89.54 12.155 111.32
1.758 7.740 89.82 12.162 111.39

The weather wasn't the best

hang in there It just takes the right combo of traction and weather/weight. You will be in the 11's this fall when the temps drop!
