Would it be possible to put another bar off the back side of the shock tower down to the frame rail to support them? I understand fully why the limiter like piece is there for the shock tower... just wondering if there's some way to add one to the back. That would make the whole thing alot more stable I'd think.

the headers fill up damn near every inche of space under and beside the shock tower... this was really the only decent option we had, unless built a new set of headers around a stationary support pole.

he had to cut into the the floor pretty deep just to get all that **** to fit.

another update.... ended up ording a glasstek hatch and lexan from MADMAN the other day... also planning on having a custom wing installed. hoping the car comes in weighing about 3175 with no ballast. i'll get more pictures once it gets more work done.

the motor is about finished up... just getting the intake ported and matched up to the new cylinder heads. hoping to have motor done in about 2 weeks.

we are hoping for a 4.4x in OL275 trim. after finally getting our tranny issues under control last year we only saw the tip of the iceberg the end of last year. we had the tranny out every weekend we raced. and after finding some motor problems we didnt know we had and the new motor upgrades... we dont see why we couldnt atleast keep up with the x275 BBnos combos and being that we'll be lighter and a few other illegal tweeks for X275 we might be able to squeak out a 4.499999.

yeah im not sure whats up with the old pics...

560ci, tall deck, Holley EFI, 3 dry systems, accufab 8500 TB, 55mm cam, 904 lifters, BMI aluminum rods, weisco custom pistons, brodix headhunters (lots of hand porting), super vic intake, bradco th400 2 speed, 4.30 rear gear, bradco billet converter, afco's... we spun the last motor pretty hard with with the cam change this one should want about 8500 shift as well, only the track will tell.

last year if we hadnt of had so many tranny problems (had tranny out atleast 10 times last year)(which we figured out was the shift lever, lol... not funny though) we would have made alot more progress. last time out last year with old motor and 1 system we went a 4.900 in x275 trim. another few days and we would have easily seen 4.7x just didnt have the time and had to put a "go down the track, race tune up in it" not a "test tune"

Car is looking awesome Tyler. I remember seeing it a Mitch's shop years ago. What did you find wrong with the shifter? Reason I am asking is because I may be experiencing a similar problem. Good luck this year.

the shift lever hole was about 1/16" off it was keeping the valve inside the tranny half open and was trying to pull both high and low at the same time... kept burning **** up.
