Use 6-32 or 8-32 Counter Sunk S/S Flat Head Hex Screws with Lock Nuts. Also make sure the Glass has holes that are drilled & counter sunk or the Glass will crack

I'm also considering the switch to a VFN fiberglass hatch and a lexan rear window....
The guy in my area who does lexan also has an airbrush guy that can airbrush the shadowed area and the rear window defroster lines.... if we glue it in you'd never be able to tell..

am not too worried about looking like the window is stock, I thing a 33x17" tire would give away the sleeper look
Cool idea though. How hard is it to fit and how well do the vfn hatches fit?

I've been thinking about this also. I wasn't sure how much weight I would save switching all the glass to lexan and getting the VFN hatch. How are you guys attaching the side lexan?

If the quality is like their hoods i imagine they wouldn't fit that bad. Might have to do some minor fitment but would probably be worth it..... The hatch and glass weighs 100lbs plus... like almost 115-120 lbs.... going to lexan and fiber hatch would drop at least 100lbs....

So how much does the actual rear glass weigh? I know one thing my stock hatch fits good and if I can drop at least 1/2 the weight going to just lexan then I might keep it. I like how well the stock doors and hatches open and close, front hood is a different story, I'll need a cowl hood and I like the sunoco wide style hood so that can be pin on.
I'll weigh my front glass when I remove it, but I am sure some one already knows.
