Not to bring this topic back from the dead, but I'm pulling my power steering and A/C off right now, and was just wondering if you by chance remember the length of the belt you run, since its what I'll be running. Single belt from the crank to the alt. No accessories and electric waterpump. Thanks!

I drove my friend's 77 Chevy short box van, 383, 700R4, 3k stall that has no PS. It's a huge *** van and it was very easy to drive around. I might end up doing this shortly on my 95 just because my power steering pump is making noises that sound like they're from the movie Cloverfield.

You can delete the power steering pump and loop the two ports together at the rack it self. I ran this way for a while and no problems. If you have any peach fuzz you can turn the wheel by hand no problem.
You can use your SLP underdrive pulley as well and use a short belt, I think Thunder lists it as 11-510K6. Call them and they will set you up with the right one.

11-510K6 "Short Belt" for track use on LS1 F-body with underdrive crank pulley (power steering bypass)
But, can i run it with this setup:

The AC is on it's own belt and you will need a shorter belt for that too with the SLP pulley.
That belt listed from TR is what you want to bypass the P/S (or remove it) and run your Alt and WP with the SLP pulley.

I heard TR is out of their old building. Are they still in business?
