if you have access to a second car here is what I would do. Install underdrive pulley. then take a piece of string run it exactly how a belt would rout after deleting the power steering. measure the length of the string. That will give you the excat lenght of the belt you need. after you have that run up anyparts store and tell them you want a six rib belt that is xxx long

If you delete the P/S you also need to add a manual steering rack......

manual stering rack is a great thing to have if in the budget but any persn with a bit of meat on their bones should be able t turn a factory rack without power steering with a lil effort.

I agree, you can just plug it off. Although it will eventually start to mess with the steering column if your doing a lot of dead stop turning. Getting a manual rack in the future would be a good idea.

for the underdrive pulley you will need to take the stock pulley of, you do that by using a puller (you can rent one or buy one at your local auto part store) then you install the underdrive pulley, you might need to hammer it a little you do that by taking a long socket place it around the hole on the pulley (make sure it is bigger the the hole in the pulley) and then you lightly tap the socket with preferably a rubber hammer. good luck. let us know how it went.
