60 ft KILLING ME. M6 guys help please

Guys I really need some help here!!! I know my car has the potential to do better
than this.
I have gone to the track 3 times know with very little improvement on the launch.
I always do a good 7-10 second burnout with smoke rolling, set the tire pressure at
18-16, and launch right around 4-4500 RPM. My best 60ft to date is a 1.75. I am
sure that its not the track. I only race at US41 on Street Car Chaos nights, and the
car is actually REALLY consistant at 1.75-1.76 60ft times.
Here is the setup:
Rear suspension:
Moser 12 bolt
4.10 gears
31 spline axles
QA1 10 way adjustables
stock springs
Spohn torque arm
Burkheart rodend LCA, and panhard
SLP full length subframe connectors
stock sway bar
Front suspension:
QA1 coilovers with 275 springs
removed swaybar
Tires:
M/T 28/11.5/15 ET STREETS
Motor:
Stock bottom end
LS6 intake
TR224 cam
Pariot stage II heads
Pacesetter long tubes
ported stock throttle body
tune
Tranny:
M6 stock internal
Spec Stage 3+
01-02 slave
Pro 5.0 shifter
Cars raceweight is 3225 w/o driver
I shift at 6400 RPM on all passes
My best time slip reads:
60ft------1.752
1/8ET-----7.750
1/8MPH----90.80
1000ft----10.05
1/4ET-----12.03
1/4MPH---115.63
I have tryed almost all shock adjustments from 0-4 fronts, to 3L 4R-7L 8R rear.
And tire pressure has been ranging from 16-20. The best pass I made was on a 4 front,
and 6L 7R shock adjustment. Does that sound right? When the car launches it never totally
grabs off the dump. It always spins then ketchs up about 15-20 feet down track.
What else can I adjust? Does my time sound about right for my setup? The only suspension
mods I am yet to get is a rear drag bar, and relocation brackets. Would ether of these
help that much? Please any advise is greatly appreciated.
If you need more info to help just ask. I have every pass slip, and adjustment for the
pass recorded.

"Cars raceweight is 2225 w/o driver"
is this a misprint????? the lowering brackets almost always help. sometimes more than any other mod. make sure your not botteming out on the bump stops on the rear end. this can upset the rear suspension and never work right. with the wrinklewall tires i would drop the pressure down between 10-15psi depending on how its working and what the tire wear looks like. this depends alot on how wide the rim is compared to the tire. times look right if your closer to normal weight. if thats not a misprint then well, your way off. haha

The car weighs 2225 without me in it. Just had it weighed. I just ordered some UMI bolt in relocation brackets. Ive heard the weld-in style were REALLY hard to get level. I will also try lowering pressure to 10 if I have to...im only going to be running 1/8th this weekend.
What are you guys all running as far as shock settings? Ive read alot about it, but mine seems to be to hard in the rear....but thats what the car likes.

This is how I do it...
Front shocks: L:3 R:3
Rear Shocks: L7 R:7 [I was told by a higher power
to always leave them the same and let the roll/sway bar keep the car strait
Tires (M/T 28x10.5 15S) 11.5PSI cold
Launch from 6000 to 7200rpm and don't dump the clutch, quickly slip it out. Stock T-56 transmission.
I usually run anywhere from a 1.44 to a 1.40 60' with that setup.
A lot of people tell me my tire pressure is too low, but when I go higher I spin... So who knows...

I launch my car like WS6TRANSAM01.
You can get 1.6's on stock rear and not break if you dont sidestep it. I cut 1.70 with mine cam only and full weight.
Basicly by quickly letting it out as apposed to dumping it, you benefit from not having the "shock" which breaks tires loose as well as the car gets some forward momentum which puts your minimum rpm starting point higher once the clutch is all the way out.

I 60 foot m6,4.11 gears M&H Racemaster 26x11.5x16 cheeter slicks 1.42 to 1.44 60's N/A.my psi was at 12psi cold. You are launching to soft, try 6,000 to 6,500rpm's and the 28'' tire may be hurting you N/A. I was not only N/A but I was also spraying with the 26'' tires and 4.11's and doing 1.3 60's on the hose at 3,700lbs. I think some people get these tall slicks but the car dont have the ***** to back em up. goodluck to ya.

Depending on your HP/torque level, i'm having the same issues with a bolt-on LT1, 4.11s & 26" Hoosier DRs, it WILL NOT 60ft. good at my HP level to propell the car fast enough if i dump the clutch at 5000, all it does is bogg, all i can get is 2.00 with a best of 1.99, i've talked with some & they suggested upping the pressure untill the tires spin just enough to get the best 60ft., once the cars in motion, its alot easier for the engine to move the car faster & not bogg out, i'll be trying it out this weekend.
