my 10 bolt is still in but I have sheared the pinion 3 times in the last year. Now have yukon 3.73 gears. I race almost every weekend though (for the last 3 years). Now I run a 2 step from lingenfelter and leave at 2300... so far so good, 1.61 60' on a LT, edge 3500, lid and the gears. The scary thing is the low reverse sprag in the tranny is taking out the rearend or vice versa, we haven't figured that one out yet

Ok this is the first time I have seen this thread. lol
I don't know how I missed it, But I may as well go ahead and post that I have ran a best of 10.993 at 125.61 mph with a 1.659 60'. Thats with a 100,xxx mile 3.42 10 bolt from a 6 speed Trans Am.![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
With that being said, Mine is still going strong but is currently getting snatched out for a MWC Fab-9 this winter. I Don't really want to take anymore chances with it.

Cant say weather it was the 10 bolt or welds, I know welded rear how old school but any how weld broke on spiders but no other damage and has been raced every weekend the track was open on 26/10/15 slicks and sometimes on 275 radials with a 1.50 60'' and best of 7.21 1/8 mile

Mine lasted at 800+rwhp for a year. Even with 28" m/t slicks and manual trans. Until I took it to the track. 4th pass trying different things to get it to hook off a 2800rpm 2step launch. Figured it out and stepped up to 3100rpm and broke the driver side axle into. As far as the center main part of the rear its fine. 9" setting waiting now plus whole car is getting redone now.
