Default Anyone running 9's or better with MT drag radials Naturally Aspirated??

Thinking about my next set of tires and it would be great to not have to change my wheels when I get to the track. I'd be using the 295's-unless I could stuff the 315's under there
I know guys have gone much faster than I am on them but as far as I know they are all power adder cars. I had the 325's a couple years back and they worked well but would not hold the transbrake and I was only running mid 10's at that time.

Check on yellowbullet, those guys are all racers they'd be better to ask.

And yes there's a ton of people in the single digits on them, maybe not f body's but the tire can do it.

Hell, there's guys on yellowbullet running 5.5x in the 1/8th on 8.5 wide tires LOL.

I have a pair of 295s mounted on 15x10 draglites (7.5" BS) if you wanted to try them out. Just stop over and pick them up. They're down to the wear bars, but still have lots of track life left. I think the 295s would work pretty well for you. They're about the same size as the 30x10.5s you run now. Hit me up in a PM if you want to try them.

I'm not NA, but I've run my 325's to 9.4@144 and it was very stable, cut a 1.35 too.

I've been using the 325 radials and I've had mixed results with em..... at one point and at one track they put the car on the bumper and 1.40 60'..... leaving on a brake at 4K on a 150 shot... 9.79@139.....

At a different track with the same suspension settings i couldn't get better than a 1.65....

So to me TRACK PREP is crucial..... if you are at a shitty track you won't hook no matter what you do.... meanwhile guys with full slicks were hooking all night around me..... kinda frustrating but oh well.... that's why they are radials.... and if you blow them off they will not recover..... They are a great tire but I still think nothing will ever outhook a good old MT ET Drag.....
