True Duals Mufflers Dumped Off Headers Or Y Pipe With Bullet
What is the best exhaust set up for racing. Headers with bullets off of them w/turn downs or Do a Y-pipe off your headers and fix one 3 inch bullet off of that. Any pros or cons please give me your 2 cents.

turndowns off the collectors if you have no noise standards to go by. I ran my car that way last year with very good luck, this year I had a 3.5 inch pipe run off the collector to a 44 series flowmaster, and a lenth of pipe off the back of the muffler to dump in front of the tire for a noise rule I have to meet for englishtown, I've run it with that and with the headers open and have had good luck both ways, with 2 3.5 inch pipes there's really not enough of a restriction to matter I don't think, and it's quiet enough so etown didn't care.
But, if you have no noise/muffler rule, I wouldn't run any more then you have to.

Dual 3.5 inch exhaust... if that's not enough I don't know what to say.

Wow those are really thin. That's cool.
Yeah, when I got the 1 7/8 stepped to 2 inch headers with the 3.5 collectors, I didn't want to go adding any additional restriction to the system. I didn't bother with an h or x pipe as I personally think that they're nothing more then a gimmick, just 2 sections that I can unbolt off/on the car in about 15 min, no clamps on the exhaust either, it just slides up onto the collector of the header and has one 3/16 bolt that goes thru a tab on the collector we welded on, and one on the exhaust itself, and I pull one bolt out of the d.s. loop, and bolt up by the hangar we welded onto the muffler.
Simple, easy, and after painting it flat black, almost invisable
