If you have that hood and run slower than mid 9's I'd laugh.

The camaro one is fine, although it too is a race car piece, at least you can maintain some visibilty.

Anymore alot of race classes are requiring wipers. I plan to do drag week at some point, I'll need those wipers.
So exactly where at in the nine's does one need to be before he's not laughed at??
.....I swear

You're gonna have gay classes like that everywhere....windshield wipers, full interior...etc. ****, I'm sure there are classes out there that require a/c to be installed and functional. My point is, if he was worried about entering into classes that require windshield wipers, he would have gone with a different hood. Obviosly he's not, so what's the difference.

Anyway, I love both looks, and plan on going with the VFN extended Sunoco for my SS when the new 408 goes in. And yes, I will need the room with the Super Victor intake and Accufab 4150 throttle body.
Believe it or not, if the wiper motors were still in the car, there is actually room for both wipers, no problem. Just wouldn't beable to turn them on....

Currently the plan is to see how fast we can go with a stock piston/rod combo with nitrous. I have another shortblock and with that setup I would like to run in our local drag radial class. The only thing I'll have to change is that I'll have to put a pass. seat in the car.

The fitment on the firebird hood is terrible. How are you going to get the corners down? You can't adjust the hood for that. I think fitment could have been alot better. The Camaro hood fits pretty good from the pics.

You can heat the hood and use something with a little bit of weight to set it down, but with as pliable as the hood is I think with the dzus fittings in it will be fine.

Exactly. These are not as thick as a normal fiberglass hood, they are like paper lol, the dzus fasteners will without a doubt do the job.
