New 416 dyno numbers. Thanks Ron and Pat G.
Took the car to my outstanding local dyno guys today. Thanks Ryan and Jason for coming in early. The car put down 555/509rw SAE Corrected and 570/522rw STD Corrected. I ran those numbers through full exhaust at 185-190* ECT with the heavy Motor Sport Z wheels on the back with no cooling. The clutch was slipping as well. The first pass was 554/460rw, as the clutch came around the tq kept picking up. I gave up at pass five and called it a day. The car is running 28* total at 12.7-12.8 AFR. There are more detailed lists of the combo in my other dyno and track threads.
Red line combo:
SDPC 416 short
TFS 235's
Vengeance ported 92
Pat G LSL 247/254 .622/.622 112+2 Degreed to 110 icl
Vararam
Kooks 1 7/8"
Next Phase cat back (which is hurting me)
Tex Exo-Skel Twin
Blue line:
Same 416 short and heads
Vengeance ported 90
XER 244/248 .612/.615 114+4 110 icl
Tex 0Z700
Borla Stinger
This car is my daily driver. I assembled the combo in my garage and tuned it my self as well. I think with an EWP and some cut-outs 570/520rw SAE is possible. Those are the only bolt ons I don't have. Does any one know of any other 416's making more power than this one. I would love to tap that persons brain to see where my combo is lacking.

Nice numbers. Congrats.
I am in the process of having a 6.0 bored with a 427 Stroker Kit. I think that'll bring me to around 416-418 ci, not sure, but know it's no true 427. That cam looks HUGE for a DD. How's it acting for you? I'm debating keeping my little 222-224 .599/.601 (w/ the 1.8 RR). Your heads are also better than mine.

Nice that you lost nothing down low and gained at every rpm level above that. Great combo!

What kind of valves/valve spring are you using? I would have thought that cam would be a tougher one to control at higher rpm but you are obviously having no issues.

Thanks to all.
The cam is not that bad daily driving. No worse than the other. I have some experimenting to do now that I installed COS3. I am willing to bet I can get it to drive very well with some more work.
I am using what ever upgraded valve springs come from TEA on the TFS 235's.

I'm making 5 hp less but a little more torque. I have a 427 a 90/90 and x-pipe with no cats. my cam is less than .600 lift. Everything else is the same. I'd like to see what a bigger cam would do in my car.

I would love to put some boost to this thing but it was built for a 250 shot, as you can see by the cam specs and the compression being 12.0:1. I am thinking with a perimeter plate 250 shot I may be able to touch 800rw. That should make for one fast ride. I would really like to max out the NA part first though. I am a little scared of the bottle any way. So if I spend another dime on this car it will be on cut outs and an EWP.

Thanks guys. It is still some what a work in progress. I really want to see a solid 570/525rw SAE corrected.
Bill. The heads are milled to 68cc which I think is only .012"
Bait. I think it might be the little things in your combo. Compression, headers, heads, intake porting. Plus you have heavier running gear if I remember correctly that is hurting some. The cam in your combo still may be slightly large. Try advancing it like you said before replacing it.
Venom. I can't get any one to run me, at least not motor to motor. Most bikes don't even want to play. 1K's shrug me off and 600 were smacked around with the 383. I think the word is out. But since I don't do any planned street racing any more the imprompto stuff is hard to come by. I can't afford to pay so I hardly play.

Nice numbers. The gas is not as scary as you think. You just need to spend the money on the right parts and electronics to make it work.

I hear ya. That is my problem though. I would do it all out perfect. So I am looking at a $2,500 investment. I am about maxing my fuel system as it is with just the LPE 255 intank. So I would have to go stand alone, with a good perimeter system, and a NANO. I think that even with a good bottle heater the NANO is the only way to go. So the bottle is a long way off. I think I am getting close to the power I need to run my goal of 9.9@137 N/A. I will probably just work on the last two motor mods and then the suspension and rear end. I am still running stock gears.
