Default Dyno Results 421 Solid Roller **VIDEO ADDED IN FIRST POST**

Finally got some time to post up the dyno results from the car. The thing drives great and runs on pump gas.
I'm not telling you it drives like stock, but for what it is it's not bad.

2001 Trans-Am WS6 M6
421 Iron Block
12.5:1
ETP 255’s
Rapid Motorsports Dominator Solid Roller Cam
Jesel J2K 1.7’s
Beck Sheet Metal Intake
Fast 90mm
Pump Gas

Kooks 1 7/8 x 2 x 3 ½ stepped headers with off road pipes
Kooks Y-pipe
Mufflex 4” catback

Textralia Twin Disk
D&D Viper Spec T-56
Denneys nitrous shaft
Moser 12 bolt, 4.11 gears

608rwhp 496rwtq

Finally got my computer squared away and was able to convert the videos.

The rattling you hear is the broken exhaust cutout, the shaft was broken and rattling like crazy

Great numbers. Giving up some torque though with the sheetmetal intake but not as bad as I thought it would be. Good job. also interested in the cam specs or atleast close numbers. I have a cam grind I am going with in my solid roller with about 12.1.1 compression. Just trying to gauge were I will be compared to your setup. Thanks.

Strong setup. Nice seeing power above 600rwhp even at 7500 rpm.

I am interested in the cam specs as well. I like how the engine keeps breathing with the sheet metal intake. I did honestly expect the tq to be up at least 30rw though. If I end up keeping my car I see a solid roller in the future.

The reason the torque is alittle low for the build is due to the intake. Will be a killer drag strip car though.

thanks guys, 92 octane, not much street driving with it. although i did take it for a 50-60 mile round trip and it wasn't too bad.

cam specs are in the mid+ 260's .700" 112lsa

patrick g - the power is insane all the way to the top, it just doesn't stop pulling

i can't wait to get it to the track.

i do have a video, i have to get it off my camera, it's a new Sony i just got and have to figure out how to convert it from HD to be PC friendly. (as it is now the video is like 200mb)

Nice, very very nice. I'd like to see what it would do with a cam on a 110 or 108 lsa, be a tuning nightmare, but I bet it would fatten the tq up a little bit with no real sacrifice of top end.

Mikey builds some nasty power, probably one of the best if not the best with n/a lsx HP out there.

I bet with some C16 and another 5 degress of timing that would be making 625

Got to be a solid 9 second car on a **** track in 90 degree weather, nevermind on a good track in this time of year's air.

My apologies, your engine really isn't lacking any where. I compared our graphs and we are even till 4,000, I have you by some from 4,000-5,800 then your motor takes off by another 50+ till 7,200. You are running a big cam, heads, sheet metal intake with heavy running gear so I woldn't expect it to do all that well down low but it does just fine. That motor is a sheer monster. Enjoy.

The goal was to not use race gas in it, if i was going to use it i would have gone 13.5:1 and made some real power. For a streetable pump gas motor it gets the job done.

I think it should get down into the 9's, hopefully.
