Default Dyno results: 2001 Z06 Patrick G custom grind + boltons

Just got home from a long day...happy with what the car put down and it's feeling strong as hell. Mods are in sig, plus a Patrick G custom grind.... 231/235 .617/.620" 112+4lsa. Stock heads, intake manifold, throttle body, rocker arms, etc.

*EDIT - VIDEO HERE - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nmzb5dERaeM

Final numbers were 435.5rwhp / 401rwtq.

The best part is I can cruise at 40-45mph in 6th gear with no problems, and averaged 26.5mpg on the way home. Pulls nice and hard, just trying to get used to my new shift points.

Huge thanks to my friends Tom who helped through most of the install, Devon for lending me tools, and Johan @ Diablosport for doing a great job tuning it at a very reasonable price. I would also like to extend a huge thank-you to Patrick G for being so helpful. I told him what I wanted (a cam that would make at least 430rwhp on stock heads/intake, and drive near stock) and he delivered 100%.

Nice numbers. Looks like it was still making max power at the end of the dyno run.

Thanks for the kind words. I work hard to match the valve events and lobe profiles to a customer's mods and goals. I'm very glad that you're happy. I love the strong mid-range punch and the fact that your power does not fall off up high. It's rare to see stock compression, stock-headed LS6s make over 400 lb ft of torque. Great combo!

Congrats guys. Good job Pat, you resisted the urge to spec a Donkey-dick cam for the hero numbers. Amazing how a CORRECT mediumish cam puts down better peak numbers than some of the monsters around. Who woulda thunk it huh??

Thanks all! It definitely moves, I was very impressed with the torque. I wanted him to take it to 6800 or so, but if you look closely you'll see it peaked at 6400.

Hitting it around 4500 in 2nd gear broke the 335s loose with my ~300lb friend in the car

And just for reference so you know the dyno doesn't read insanely high or anything, my friend had his 2001 SS dynotuned (Stg2.5 PRC heads / 224/224 cam, full boltons, M6) and it put down 406rwhp right after mine.

Very nice! Sounds like it's time for some drag radials!

Got any more pics of the car? I'm really starting to like silver.

Typical LS1 intake peaking at 6400k. I'm surprised that it still is carrying power past 6500k? Nice work.

Just had to remove my rear brake ducts. Other than that, it is a tight fit but they fit quite well. You must run at least ~1 degree of negative camber in the rear, or the leaf spring will scrape on the inner wheel....I found that out the hard way.

Wow, very impressive all around.
Johan was just telling me about this car, he was pretty happy with the tune results.

That thing must be a monster now with 400ft/lbs at the wheels!!

As always, very impressive camshaft Mr. G!
