Default Very impressed with my dyno results from my 01 Trans-Am WS6

Sunday I got my car dyno'd, it an 01 Trans-Am WS6 M6. Mods are:

Pacesetter LT's
Pacesetter ORY
SLP Loudmouth w/ no resonator
SLP Lid
SLP smooth air bellow
WS6 Store short-throw

Well my car put down 360RWHP and 365 ft-lbs. on a dynojet! They said it was one of the strongest running bolt-on LS1's that they have seen. Here are pics of my dyno chart and my dyno video:

So you're telling me an LS1 with a lid and headers puts down 360rwhp? That's impressive. I'd be curious to see what you'd put down on my local dyno considering my tuned LQ9 put down a meager 267 rwhp pathetic lol (converter was unlocked, I was told to expect roughly 20rwhp higher with it locked).

the dyno is pretty accurate. 2 other bolt on LS1 cars, all full exhaust and lid. the 6 speed car made 340, the auto car made 330. 01 ta's car is a freak. a stock 03 mach 1 put down 280 rwhp.

Not a freak being STD correction on a 63 degree day. Solid but not out of the ordinary.

Youd see 335 rwhp SAE on a 100 degree day here.

nice numbers, run condition really helps- 63*F, 30.00 in-Hg, humidity: 21%

you either ran 357/365 or 360/359, NOT 360/365...

you dont mix and match runs and then pull the highest numbers you see and put them together...

regardless, strong numbers either way...

so if you started a dyno at 2500 rpm and got a peak torque of 400 ft lbs at 4800 rpm and 400 hp at 6400, the next run there were issues with spark pickup and it started at 5500 rpm. the torque at that rpm was 380 and the hp peak moved up to 405, you would say 405 hp and 380 ft lbs?

the car was making ~5 more hp across the board the second time it was pulled and the second pull started way after the torque peak.

quit nit picking.

you address the issue and then re-dyno the car. you disgard the run because you know its not accurate...

you take the best run out of how many pulls there were. those are you numbers. you dont make 4 pulls and then piece together the highest numbers...

ill put it into perspective for you. if you install a cam and prior to putting it on the dyno you ran 388/375. those are your current numbers. now after dialing in the tune you come out to 419/395 those then become your new numbers. now if there was a run inbetween that was 413/402, that means there is some tuning left on the table (running a little rich). final numbers would still end up being 419/395...

it's not nit-picking its being honest. this is a perfect example of mis-information...

Nice runs. I'd like to see an SAE number but compared to those other cars on the dyno, sounds like it pulls hard.

I also don't understand why everyone talks about SAE on different temperature days. The whole point of the SAE correction is to take into consideration temperature, air quality, elevation, etc, etc. If you have SAE numbers, it doesn't matter whether you ran the car on a dry 55 degree day or a humid 100 degree day; they are already corrected for that.

What's the setup on your car and what track times have you run? Just curious.
