Cool 03 SVT Cobra Dyno

Took my car by VA Speed got some almost stock numbers. Only mods are CAI and Flowmaster catback. I dont think there to bad considering how rich its running up top. The guys at VA Speed were cool to talk to and have a great shop to do business in if anyone needs a shop in the tidewater area

Its always good to know what you're up against. Thanks for that post. Its a reality check to see a cobra with 2 bolt ons put down what my car made with cam only. Well I guess 3 bolt on's if you count the factory supercharger.

Even though we make similar power on the dyno, your car is alot faster than mine. Based on the combo in your sig I would say you have a mid 11sec car, mines more of a mid 12 car. Lot of things come into play in the end scope of things

Iam not quite mid 11's yet my best time so far is a 12.18 @ 114 with a 1.86 60ft at san antonio raceway. I would like to see that race from a 2nd gear roll, your TQ would make things interesting

12.18 at 114 seems a bit slow. Are you dead hooking or having trouble with traction? What's the DA? I am into the 11's cam only without the juice. Ever think about increasing your stall speed?

I think it moves out the best it can with stock WS6 suspension and mickey drag radials. I am not a pro when it comes to drag racing so as long as it leaves straight i am happy, but I would think that my 60ft could be better. As for the DA I got no clue so that could be a factor also. This yank is the 2nd stall to be put in the car and I am not going to change it for a 3rd time. It may not put up the numbers at the track like it should but it hasent let me down on the street yet.

danger,

How much are your heads milled, you know your static/dynamic compression ratios? What did you put down for power?

Nice numbers. You gonna get it tuned up before you throw some more mods at it?

My car has crappy non-drag intended lowering springs with stock suspension and drag radials

Also, don't be disappointed about the Cobra's dyno numbers...they have like 10 cams and 400 valves WITH a big ol supahcharger.

The beautiful thing about those cobras is their potential. Very stout short block, can handle a ton of power. Just a pully swap and tune can give you a shitload more power.

Just make sure you don't do multiple high speed runs back to back....even with the cooling mod I wouldn't try it
