Default AFR 205's Fast 90/90, G5X2, Kooks dyno #'s

I had my car dynoed at Williams Performance the other week and I'm very pleased with the numbers. Here's the list of Mods:
LS6 Block honed to a 347
AFR 205'S Milled 30 thousandths
Forged Pistons
Kooks LT's with Cats
G5X2 on a 114lsa
Lid, 85mm MAF, FTRA
Fast 90mm ported intake
Nick Williams 90mm TB
SLP Dual/Dua exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler
Six speed tranny and stock rear gears
Car did 452rwhp and 400rwt.
Air fuel was right on just ran out of injector. They were 110% duty cycle. I'm gonna get a better fuel pump and maybe some bigger injectors. I want to try to squeeze a lil more out of her so I may also try to upgrade the exhaust in some way. It sounds great just don't know if that magnaflow is holding out some power. This is a awesome streetable cam. I had a FMS 226/226 .575/.575 114lsa and I can honestly say it drives about the same. I gained exactly 20rwhp but lost 8rwt with changing the cam.

Not bad.

Ran out of injector? You just saying that the DC was high? Or did it run out of fuel? Check out FIC in the injector section. They have some good deals.

110% is beyond, "ran out of injector." The Air/fuel had to have been leaning out near the end of the run, yes? I'd do injectors, then if needed, fuel pump. After, have the tuner play w/ the high RPM fueling & maybe the timing.

Personally, I think those are excellent numbers. Just take care of the fueling & see where she ends up.

Some great numbers right there. I'm definitely interested to see if the unmbers change with the upgraded fuel system.

Me too !! I am sure the numbers will be better when you can get a set of injectors that can keep up with fuel demand. I am willing to bet that your A/F ratio was leaner then you think.

Lets hold of on judgement until he gets a bigger set of injectors to feed this beast properly. I've seen a lot of g5x2 cams paired with AFR 205s make more power too. With that being said none of them had fuel issues.

To answer your question I look at it this way. There's no price on quality work. What may not be good enough for you doesn't mean it's not good enough for me. The fact that the guys at the shop took excellent care of my car, were extremely reasonable on the price of parts and labor and got the work done in a timely manner goes a long way in my eyes. They are aiming bigger and want to get more out of her and they will. I do thank you for your post thou. After the fuel upgrade it should gain some more. Thanks once again guys for your comments.

You can't truly know until you know the issue. How many miles on those injectors? Ever been cleaned? When was the filter last changed? The problem could be both (or a combo of all three), but may not be. I'd say you're beyond what factory injectors can safely do and on the fringe of what a healthy factory pump can do. I would do both, even if your only issue is injectors right this second. Don't forget the filter too, cheap insurance and good to rule it out as a potential issue. Racetronix has the good setup with the new pump and harness to get good voltage to it.

I'm interested to see what this combo does with enough fuel. It may be holding you back quite a good bit.

Hey Phil thanks. Question for ya. I used to live in Echelon NJ and work at a restaurant called Vianna's on the white horse pike. It's been like 18 years but man that food was great. Do you know if it closed down? I tried to call the old number I had on it and it didn't work. Thanks for any help. Ok back to dyno #'s lol.

damn good numbers IMO....I would be extremely happy with that and keep in mind dyno numbers mean very little

my car is a full weight SS that has heads/cam/converter and bolt ons and runs 11.4s with stock suspension and 380 rwhp
