Thunder Racing Raptor cam #'s
Ifinally had my car dynoed with TR raptor cam... 420HP and 384TQ at the wheels. I am no where near the power it can make because my injectors are stock and I need a bigger intake/tb. Once I replace that we are estimateing around 480-500 RWHP. If anyone has any questions about the set up I'm running just ask.

List of questions.
1. Year and model of your car
2. what size motor
3. where was it dyno'd
4. why do you say it is running out of injector if it was only a cam
5. do you have a graph
6. If the intake and TB is your problem, them what type of heads do you have
7. was this a dyno-jet (figured someone would have wanted to know since it is the most common asked question in this section)
8. What is your exact cam specs
9. how does it drive (again, commonly asked question.... LOL)
I believe that is all for now... thank-you

Sounds good bro, but I am a little unsure of your claim. Change the tb, intake, and injectors and you are going to go from 420 rwhp to 480-500 ?? I don't think that even a ported fast 92 (opened to 100mm) with a 100 mm tb and 42# injectors will ad 60-80 rwhp. Maybe I missed something bro, were there some set of heads being added as well ??
Cam only 420/384 is awesome !!! Or do you have heads too ?? Not knocking you, I just think I might have missed something. Are your running a ud pully and ewp as well, or are you expecting 480-500 rwhp without all boltons ?? Again what heads do you have, and do you have the specs on that cam ?? Very curious.

ls1 motor w/ ls6 intake and heads(243 CAST), raPtor cam, kooks lt w/ y pipe, bowl blended and back cut valves, patriot double valve springs, ported ls1 tb,7.4 push rods,ls7 lifters,ls6 ported oil pump, double molley timing chain,"CRACKED ROD" ROD BOLTS
it was dyno(dynojet) and tuned by geoff at esp (used to be at thunder's shop). When the tuneing was done my injectors (stock) were at 107% @ 6200rpm, and my intake was pulling as hard vacum from lack of air. THIS CAM WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE POWER TO 6800RPM, MY MOTOR CAN HOLD UP TO 7200RPM WITH MY SET UP. I WILL HAVE GRAPH UP AS SOON AS I FIGURE OUT HOW TO CONVET IT FROM THE DYNOJET PROGRAM
I understand the speculation that it doesn't sound possible by some to get those kind of #'s from my set up but like i said it is what the guy who tuned it and who build think it will do and i'm sure they know a bit more about this than the adverage guy....... They do this for a living and have been for many many years.

Nice results. I've been doing this for a little while now and have seen quite a few combos. Don't get upset if your car doesn't pick up the power like you expect. If you switch out the heads, put a ported FAST/TB on, then you might see what your expecting.
If the injectors are at 107%, they are still working like they are supposed to. The only way is if they were "really" maxed out and you couldn't get the AFR where it needs to be above 5500 rpms. I'm guessing this isn't the case.
