Default TR 230/224/111 Dyno Results

Made 402 STD and 399 SAE with 379 TQ.

With SLP LT headers, and all boltons =) VERY Happy with results.

I had a question since the headers I have are the SLP "tuned" length longtubes which were designed for the stock cam or cams with traditional split would they cause issues with my reverse split cam making it harder for it to scvange the exhaust like it would with a cam with traditional split? Jsut curious if I should choose different headers or what? Also I see now EXACTLY why thunder reccomends gears with this cam hehe this thing HATEs being under 1700 to 2K rpm lol...

Overall I am very happy.

Stick with the SLP's. Those are good numbers. The headache of putting on another set of LT's is not worth the possible 5-10hp gain IMO.

Nothin but good things bout this cam!! Seen plenty bolt ons close to 400 and 450 with heads, sounds like a winner every way. I was lookin at the X1, but after so many proven results, I think Im sold on this one.

clip is before cam (idle), then after cam (idle). i only took idle clips because my car is running fucked up as is and i dont want to put unwarrented stress on it until i can start pulling it apart again.

What is the advantage of the reverse split?

Just that i have seen a LOT of "cam" only with headers and boltons cars in vegas producing crap for HP like in the neighborhood of 360 to 370 to the wheels which is laughable considering some of them even have tuning . So as you have clearly proven that the TR cams once again have done good, vs other name brands which the locals use here which produce under 370 HP. I was shocked to see the low numbers is all lol

are you that hung up on dyno numbers? let me tell you a little something that you dont know. dyno numbers mean ****. just remember, "the locals" here read this board too. horsepower doesnt win races, its the car across the line first that does

the cam will work with stock headers, but you wont see huge gains. the real gain comes from a nice set of LT's.

its not a good idea to spray a reverse split cam.

Has anyone track proven this cam yet? I love everything about it, but 1/4 mile ET tells the truth. Post up! I know there has to be several die hard drag racers that have put it to the track test.
