i know you're not trying to spend a huge fortune for 8 more hp but i always wonder why people use the 92mm tb and 90mm intake and then stick a 85mm maf in front of it, the 100mm maf are not THAT much more than an 85mm maf and the 100mm FTRA lid also isn't much more than a normal lid.
always wondered how much more that would be worth on all these 450rwhp + cars that i see with 85mm maf, i mean that 85mm size is what GM spec'd on their stock 350rwhp Zo6 c5 motors,

Yeah...make fun of a guy that is smart enough to not spend $2,500 on heads that may have gained him 10hp more. Plus those cheap gm heads will not add 14 lbs to the front of his track car.

Actually, I know exactly what you mean..lol I've seen some that fit horribly.. I didn't have to do anything special, I just adjusted them the best I could and they turned out half way decent. I don't really drive the car at night so to be honest I don't even know if the lights are lined up correctly on the road.
