with a combo like that, why the use of Patriot heads? Seems like money was well spent everywhere else and it is def. good results.

why not use patriot heads? mine have been great (Stage II, 59cc). i have a little 224 cam, self ported 90/90 and supporting mods putting down 458/410. oh and this is through the Ebay headers, TD's, stock MAF, etc...M6, stock 3.42 10-bolt...

guess my money wasnt well spent...?

op, nice numbers...

yet again, another instance where patriot/budget heads work very well.

intake and tune up are just as important. shows not everyone has to buy 3K dollar head/rocker combos to make 450 rwhp

well said ! people assume everybody has DEEP pockets ! i still have 241 heads and when i had my 6spd setup i was over 500 rwhp ,yes i have a lot in the combo left but the funds just dried up lol.....GREAT #'s congrats on the build ! Larry builds some sick builds and Jim is a great tuner

This is a road track car, I am not looking for outrageous HP numbers but more on a reliability standpoint.. Plus, with all the other mods that have to be done (front suspension work) I am not looking to dump 15k into the car.. The motor is pretty much just about built with everything that was finished today. I am pleased with the numbers. The H/C combo I did awhile ago, I just had the Intake/TB , new injectors new Clutch etc.. put in this time around.

agreed...and some people like me would rather not spend too much money on the motor because we don't want to invest that much into a car which might not be our highest prioirity

you should be very pleased with the budget build and building your car to the purpose you use it for, and the power your setup has made!!!

Nice #'s. Especially with an LS7 clutch. People need to realize that's an EASY 10 rwhp hiding in that heavy *** flywheel.

Good job guys

Car runs great, just picked it up.. Feels so diffrent.. with just the Intake/TB setup.. I think the new Clutch is what changed the feel completely.. Now I can actually powershift without sticking..

here are a few pics..
