The pushrods are 4.25" as per Patrick's recommendation. The springs are PRC duals I believe, whatever tsp sells their 5.3 heads with. And the rockers are stock.

What headgaskets did it have before?

Whats the usual gain going from stock to .040?

I dont think a gain can be measured for the gasket. It does slightly increase compression and gives a better quench.

It had stock headgaskets, I think they're ~.054.

Small update, I ran at the track the other day and the new cam picked up 2 mph in the traps!

Thread revival! Long story short, I sold this car in 09 and bought it back last fall, the guy made no changes other than adding 2.5" standard cats in a 3" ypipe... He only put 15k miles on it too. Well I got a new tsp catted ypipe and dyno'd it today, it made 378/345 on a land and sea dynomite dyno, the last dyno I used in 09 is closed now but it was a dynojet. So in 09 on a dynojet I made 418/395 sae and now I made 378/345 std on a dynomite. Today's weather is shitty with 85% humidity and ~42 degrees, could that be throwing me this far off? Do dynomite dyno's read that much lower? For the record, This car runs hard and pulls like a champ, it still traps the same mph as it did in 09 and that was with the 2.5" cats still. Any insight is appreciated.

Land and Sea is a load dyno like a Mustang Dyno, they typically show lower readings than the Dynojets.

There is a LOT folks on here don't know about UD Pulleys...the tolerances on the SLP and Powerbond are terrible, at best. I baked mine in the oven at 300* for 10-15min, used enough antisieze on the crank snout to mate a bull mastiff with a chihuahua, and it still fought me the entire way on. Everything went back on correctly, nine months later: broken LS2 timing chain. Chain went 25k miles on a built 402 without a single issue. Once I put the UDP on it didn't make it 8 months of weekend driving and racing.

Dog s**t mod, especially on a stroker which has greater harmonic issues than the stock 3.62" guys.

ATI SuperDamper now. Spotless control to 8500rpm (if I could ever spin that high).

Glad Pat G showed you the light! Lobes, ramp rate, valve events > duration specs.

Welcome to Team LSL - I love my 243/251 113 Comp on those same lobes!

Thanks for posting your results. The power you gained under the curve should add 1-2mph on your traps now.

with a very similar pat g cam my ss made only a few hp less, with stock heads. It was also on a land and sea dyno.
that being said its not really designed to just put out a number to compare to some other run on a different dyno years before. Maybe that particular dyno reads low, before and after on the same dyno, or trap speed, are a much better indication of power and gains/losses
