Torquer 2 cam swapped for Patrick G cam results
I did the swap back in Febuary and am just now getting around to posting the results.
Old mods:
TSP 5.3 stage 2.5 heads
Torquer 2 cam 232/234 .595/.598 112 LSa
LS6 intake
SLP pulley
Stock head gasket
Pacesetter headers
3" exhaust into a magnaflow muffler
Lid with NO maf
LS7 clutch
9" rear with 4.11's
New mods: All above except for the following changes.
Patrick G cam 227/235 .614”/.621” 111LSA +2 advance
.040 cometic head gasket
STOCK PULLEY instead of SLP
Removed A/C system
LS7 lifters
ARP rod bolts
Now this cam took a LOT of tuning to get dialed in correctly but once it was there...
It's a lot of fun to drive now, it has a lot more low end torque that I always wished the T2 had. It looks like it picked up as much as 30wtq down low. The injecters are at about 94% now so time to upgrade.

Great gains across the whole board. Are those LSR lobes? What is the clearence on the PTV and how much are the heads milled? With those numbers and the mass of the LS7 clutch/flywheel, and the 9" with 4.10 gears, that car should really fly down the track.

Solid gains under the curve. Yes, these are LSL lobes. This is a perfect example of how you can make more power with less duration. Bigger isn't always better. Have fun tearing up the track.

Thanks guys, I should mention the drivability too, it's a lot better than the T2. Before if I had it in 6th going less than ~1400 rpms it would start surging like a ****! Now it's nice and smooth at 1100 rpms. Thanks Patrick, this cam really turned out great!
Small story for the balancer... It was a bitch to get back off and when I went to put it back on it was terrible and started stripping out my crank threads, so in desperation I tried the stocker and it went on easy so I didn't want to try my luck.

Also this graph isn't the best pull we had, there was one more that made 420/397 but he printed the wrong one off. No biggie but still... And for those who didn't catch it, the red line is the T2 and the blue is the new cam.

From time to time, I hear problems about UDP's, IMO having the stocker on there isn't much of a difference but it is insurance that you aren't goign to have a problem in the near future. Congrats on the mod that netted you gain across the whole board and gave you better driveability then before, sounds liek money well invested.

Pat I was actually going to pm you and ask if you ahve played around with anything close to these specs lately. I had a conversation with someone about a highlift 228 cam and though about how a cam similiar to a 228 can on LSL lobes would work. It seems that the LSL lobes work great on the 8 degree split. Great work!

Stout gains, I bet its a good kick in the pants down low verse before. I know when I went from the MS3 to a spec'd 230/236 xfi mine felt like I added a 50 hit below 4k and it still carried out the power up top as good as the MS3.
