Default H/C/I +138 rwhp(478hp 411tq)

00 camaro came in with hooker lt's and y pipe with cutout, and an air intake-otherwise stock,we added TFS 215's,custom cam,out of the box FAST 92,PTM 92 mm tb,yella terras, and an ud pulley.
car has a 3.42 10 bolt rear and a m6.This was pretty much just a bolt together deal,no ported intake,no electric water pump nothing fancy just a good solid package.also it still had the stock maf,we might have gotten a little closer to 500 if we would have ported the intake and run a bigger maf-i'm sure the exhaust isnt helping none anyway.
Anyway it was a nice solid gain for a no bs package.

Great numbers on an honest dyno Shawn. How big is the cam..just a hint.

FWIW: I hate MPH graphs.

it's a mid 230's low 240's,i was trying some different stuff with the cam for more low end and better driveability which i believe i sacrificed some top end power. But the car does drive really good and idles nice, acts more like a high 220's cam-Ed liked it so that's all that matters(nothing worse than the tuner bitching about putting in the wrong cam)

Good #'s Shawn.

I'm with Kevin, I'd rather see the SAE graph in "engine speed" . Why does it not really pull hard till around 3200rpm? From there it deff. jumps though.

i'll try to get the sae graph with rpm up tomorrow,as far as the low rpm stuff,it may have been the stock clutch in there screaming for mercy-i'll ask Ed

Yeah I'm sure a stock clutch isn't liking that power to much.

That cam's not really low end friendly. For the upper rpm gain, we only sacrificed about 10 ft lbs down low, which for the improvement, ain't real bad.

Congratulations on a huge gain without sacrificing drivability. Way to go !!!

Any chance the customer will want porting and a larger MAF ?? I'd be curious to see what happens. What exhaust would you suggest to help the cause considering there current exhaust is holding them back ??

sounds like a good setup. im also interested in the exhaust. why do you think its holding him back? do you think he needs bigger primaries, new setup (ARH, QTP,etc.) all together? cutout should have been helping in breathe.

the hooker headers leave a little to be desired,as well as the exhaust with the y pipe,a set of good headers with a merged collector and a true dual exhaust should be worth about 10 or so.If we broke out the bag of tricks and did the exhaust, port the intake, big maf, lightweight flywheel,i think we could be right at 500,for right now the customer has alot of other things he needs that are a little more important-such as a clutch and a rear.Maybe down the road we will try to weasel out a couple more hp
