Mike I know you were prolly trying to help, but that whole thread is not stock cubes and thats what hes looking for. My opinion is probably most go the Vic Jr route because its cheaper but not by alot and plus you need an aftermarket hood to clear, however Ive never seen a comparison of the 2 on a stock displacement but Id go the ported 92/92 route. Its proven to not take any low end and really pick up in the whole curve stock cubes or not.

I made up my mind on a super vic and an Accell 1550 cfm throttle body last night. I'm not going to be stock cubed though. I just need to find some installed pics of a super vic of someone that still has the cowl on their car.

i would go with a ported Fast 92/92 setup because you will gain hp from it all over the powerband not just from 4000 rpm to redline.

i would go with a Vengeance ported Fast 92/92 they have ported it to 96mm with NW 96mm throttle body.

The Fast 92 will be the better intake in your setup. To take full advantage of the VicJr you would need to do a cam swap as well. The Vic Jr requires a little differant cam profile than the regular LS style intakes.

And get someone other than Veng. to port it.

you could try the new Edelbrock intake though you'll have to cut the cowl some

why? isn't Vengeance 92mm Fast intake porting that good? i always see good dyno results with thier ported Fast intakes?

Id say go with a Mamo piece. He was the first and is probably still the best at porting these intakes. Vengence gets there name out there because they are cheaper and sell more volume. Not trying to say anything bad about Vengence, Ive never used any of their products, but I do believe a Mamo 92/92 is worth the extra coin.

Id get one, but I am still dreaming about a 383 with Vic Jr and 4bbl!
